The wife of Dunamis International Gospel Centre founder Pastor Paul Enenche has urged married men to set clear boundaries with female secretaries and personal assistants to protect their marriages.
She cautioned men against allowing female employees to become more involved in their personal lives than their wives, particularly when communication with them begins to take priority over communication with their spouses.
“By the time there’s somebody’s text message that is entering your phone more than your wife’s text message, query, query, query. Make efforts to protect yourself,” she said.
She acknowledged that women can be efficient secretaries but stressed that married men must exercise wisdom in their professional relationships.
“Please don’t let anybody take the place of your wife,” she advised.
The pastor’s wife also questioned why a married man would have a female secretary who is not his wife, asking men to consider the nature of their arrangements and take steps to avoid situations that could threaten their marriages.
She encouraged men to be deliberate about protecting their relationships rather than waiting until problems arise.
