The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has ordered the removal of oversized campaign posters by people contesting for various positions in the party.
All members whose posters do not meet the FEC’s specified dimensions have five days to remove them.
The FEC has also asked that campaign posters be displayed only at constituency offices, regional offices, and election grounds.
This, they believe, should be done by the government in power in order to avoid show-off and display of extravagance or perception of it, which is inconsistent with the values of the party.
