Baba Jamal underscored the need for party unity and the importance of accepting election outcomes as the NDC Ayawaso East parliamentary primary took place on Saturday.
“This is not the first time I’m contesting. If we contest, if we win, to God be the glory.
“If you don’t, you join your others and campaign. That’s all,” he said.
He reminded delegates that successful contests require cooperation beyond the ballot.
“We have done it before. Whatever may be, we continue with our lives and the work of the party,” Baba Jamal said.
