Insults won’t help party unity – Hon Stephen Amoah warns

Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah has criticised what he described as personal attacks and insults directed at him following the controversy over his comments, saying the focus should be on leadership and national issues.

The Nhyiaeso MP said the nature of the attacks was unjustified and counterproductive.

“Do they want to unite the MPP?” he asked during an interview on GHOne monitored by MyNewsGh.

“Look at the way they are insulting me.”

He cited examples of what he described as deeply personal remarks made against him, including comments about his private life.

“They said all these things,” he said. “But I don’t even care.”

Dr. Amoah argued that such exchanges distract from what truly matters to the public.

“What Ghanaians need is not this propaganda,” he said. “Ghanaians need a leader that will change things.”

He added that he had already clarified what he said and what he did not say and saw no reason to continue engaging on the matter.

“To me, it’s very immaterial,” he stated. “I’m not speaking on this again.”
