A Nigerian man has said loneliness and marital difficulties are common among Africans living abroad, urging couples to place greater value on mutual respect.
In a video shared on X, he said, “Life can be lonely here. One of the most difficult problems I see is marital problems.”
He added that his observations come from people he interacts with regularly.
“When I ask people, I see depression and other issues. Your life can be upside down,” he said.
According to him, losing respect within a marriage can affect the entire family.
“If a man loses respect, everything crumbles. Your children will not respect him, and he fails to be the man he is supposed to be,” he said.
He ended his remarks by repeating his main point: “Just respect him. That’s what men want.”
