Walewale MP Mahama Tiah Abdul-Kabiru has described Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the strongest candidate to carry the New Patriotic Party (NPP) forward as far as the 2028 elections are concerned.
Speaking to MyNewsGh at a Thanksgiving Service held days after Dr Bawumia secured the NPP flagbearer slot, the Walewale MP did not hold back.
“If there is any single person who is going to win, he knows most experience,” he said, arguing that Dr Bawumia’s years in public office have prepared him for the contest ahead.
Walewale MP Mahama Tiah Abdul-Kabiru emphasized that leadership goes beyond slogans.
“He has more ideas than who is going to be on the ticket,” he stated.
“If anyone is downplaying the formidable nature of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, that person is only doing that at his own peril,” he added.
