Member of Parliament for Akyem Swedru, Kennedy Nyarko Osei has hailed the NPP’s decision to elect their flagbearer first before any other portfolio in the party.
He believes that this move has ensured that there are no tensions in the party’s grassroots elections across the country.
The legislator noted that the party’s elections have been incident free and peaceful; something that’s worth hailing.
Kennedy Nyarko Osei made this known in a social media post.
He said “Yesterday’s Regional Elections represents one of the most peaceful internal elections ever conducted by the NPP to large extent any political party here in Ghana.
Thanks to the leadership of the party and those who suggested the idea to have our Flagbearer election’s first before any other elections. This decision has really saved this party a lot from several potential wrangling and acrimonies. I hope and pray the upcoming National Executive Elections also conducted peacefully”.
