Regina Daniels and Dangote prove money is not the foundation of marriage – Woman argues

A woman has used the marriages of actress Regina Daniels and businessman Aliko Dangote to argue that money alone cannot guarantee a successful marriage.

She pointed to Regina Daniels, who married billionaire Ned Nwoko, saying that being married to a wealthy man did not prevent her from finding fault in the relationship and deciding to leave.

She also referenced Aliko Dangote, claiming that his wealth did not prevent his previous marriages from ending in divorce.

“So money, it is not the foundation of marriage,” she said.

According to her, couples should instead focus on how they treat and appreciate each other.

“Learn to treat your wife nicely. Learn to treat your husband nicely. Appreciate little efforts,” she said.

She also advised couples not to allow social media relationship advisers or friends to dictate how they handle their marriages.

“Do what makes your marriage work,” she said, urging men to respect their wives and women to appreciate their husbands.

“Respect is reciprocal,” she added.

She further argued that the way spouses treat each other often shapes the way they are treated in return, stressing the importance of respect within marriage.
