She asked me for Ghc120 to start selling oranges, I sent Ghc500 instead – Keche Joshua

Keche Joshua has revealed that he was moved by the sincerity behind a woman’s request for just Ghc120 to start selling oranges, prompting him to send her more than she had asked for.

The Ghanaian musician said the woman contacted him asking if he could help her with Ghc120 to start the small business.

Rather than seeing the amount as insignificant, Joshua said he felt sad because she was asking for such a small sum to make an effort to do something for herself.

“Someone called me and asked if I can get her 120 cedis to start selling oranges. I felt sad and asked, are you sure 120? She said yes. Then I ended up sending 500,” he shared on social media.

For Joshua, the request appeared to show a willingness to work with whatever little support she could get instead of simply asking for money without a clear purpose.

Three weeks after sending the money, he said the woman and her mother have continued to call him every day to thank him for the gesture.

“It’s been 3 weeks she and her mum calls everyday to thank me, wow 120 cedis hmmm this life, God thank you for everything,” he added.
