Those around Bawumia are not helping him – Franklin Cudjoe blows alarm

Franklin Cudjoe, the Executive Director of IMANI Africa, has advised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to reassess the individuals speaking on his behalf.

He therefore warned that the current approach could damage his public image.

According to him, continued reliance on certain voices in the Vice President’s communication structure risks exposing him to unnecessary public criticism.

“Dr. Bawumia risks facing overwhelming public ridicule if he continues to allow certain individuals to speak on his behalf,” Cudjoe said on social media.

He argued that the Vice President has access to more composed and thoughtful individuals who could better shape national conversations and improve the tone of public engagement around his work.

“There are far more mature and level-headed people around him who could elevate the national discourse,” he noted.

Cudjoe further suggested that a rethink of communication strategy is necessary if Bawumia intends to strengthen his public messaging and political positioning.

“It’s time for a change in strategy,” he added.
