Aduana FC coach Samuel Boadu has identified a defensive weakness he wants his players to improve when they face Swedru All Blacks in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Fire Boys have won their last two matches, including a notable victory over Asante Kotoko.
However, Boadu believes there is still room for improvement in how his team reacts when opponents have possession.
He revealed that his players sometimes give opponents too much time on the ball before closing them down. He has been working to correct the problem ahead of their next game.
“I learned that sometimes during the match, we allow the opponent players to control the ball before we close them down. But I told them that won’t help”, he said during press conference.
“So I’ve been working on it, and I believe that going into the All Blacks game, that will not happen again.”
Aduana will host All Blacks at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park as they aim for a third straight victory and look to strengthen their title credentials.
