World Cup 2026: We gave our all right to the very end – Prince Adu

Black Stars forward Prince Adu Kwabena has pledged to help Ghana bounce back following the team’s Round of 32 exit at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Adu Kwabena came off the bench in the second half as Ghana’s World Cup campaign came to an end.

“We would have loved to continue the journey; we gave it our all right to the very end,” he wrote on social media.

“Thank you to the fans for your unwavering support, and thank you to the staff and the entire team for fighting and giving everything they had.

“Representing Ghana at the World Cup is a source of immense pride—a lifelong goal and the dream of every footballer. Count on us to come back even stronger, driven by the desire to take our colors to even greater heights.”

The former Bechem United striker returned to Ghana last week for a short holiday before rejoining his club for pre-season preparations.

The Black Stars are expected to return to action in October when they begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
